Gary has held senior leadership roles across diverse industry sectors and has delivered outstanding results by maintaining a strong focus on strategy, the development of cohesive teams, the building of a high-performance culture and challenging ‘the norm’ of project delivery in both the public and private sector.

Scott Schiphorst

Director and Co-founder

Scott has more than 20 years of senior project and construction management experience in various industries, including transport, mining and power generation, water infrastructure and utilities. Fulfilling senior roles within large project teams, Scott’s leadership skills and diverse technical experience provides strategic management and governance within complex commercial environments ensuring effective project delivery outcomes and satisfying all client and stakeholder requirements are achieved.

Josh Smith

Director and Co-founder

Josh is a collaborative and delivery focused project leader with a diverse project portfolio across a range of industries including infrastructure, mining, industrial, food and beverage, transport and water utility sectors. Over 20 years of experience combined with strong strategic and commercial acumen supports Josh’s diverse engineering, project and construction and project delivery experience. Josh is a Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng), Certified Practising Project Director (CPPD) and has a PhD in Engineering.

Having worked for construction contractors, engineering consultants, and for major infrastructure and asset owners, Mark has gained extensive leadership experience across the whole life cycle of major infrastructure assets, including design, construction, operations, pricing, asset acquisitions, asset management and asset disposal.

Ralph has a degree in construction management and economics with more than 10 years of experience working with clients and leading construction organisations achieving success in managing head contracts, subcontracts, and contractor performance. Ralph joined ProManage as part of the development team and offers strategic and diverse project and contract management capability that underpins the best outcomes for our clients.

Marnie Elder

Marnie has over 15 years of contract management and project management experience across various industries and major projects in the private and public sectors. Degree qualified in Interior Architecture, she has a diverse range of experience in administering and managing Lump Sum and D&C Contracts with Tier 1 Contractors on site and office-based roles. Marnie is currently working with DPTI on the delivery of the Department for Education’s – Capital Works Program.

Paul offers a measured and sound approach to project and contract management with over 25 years’ experience in the construction, consulting and commercial industries. With experience in contract negotiation and award, through to subcontract management and administration, Paul is well-versed in project tendering and estimation.

Working with government and the private sector, Leslie identifies, analyses and manages social, environmental, and political risks to protect client reputations and licence to operate. She brings more than 25 years of experience spanning strategic and tactical communications, marketing and engagement across a range of industry sectors to understand, manage and mitigate the issues and risks associated with complex programs and projects impacted by regulatory cycles, crisis, change and public perception.

Through seven years of experience within Australia, Asia and the Middle East, she has developed strong communication skills which she applies to support community contributions to planning and policy development.

Payroll and Finance Officer

Cathy is the back bone of payroll and finance at ProManage. Meticulous at what she does, nothing much gets past Cathy.  Cathy ensures a smooth operation of our finances through Xero and WorkFlow Max and has worked in finance and accounting for many years.

Administration Assistant

Ally is currently studying a Bachelor of Journalism and she brings her passion for creativity and design to the team at ProManage.

Ally assists all of the ProManage team across many different areas and works 3 days a week whilst studying.

Sandra Barone

Senior Contracts Manager

Sandra has more than 20 years’ experience in contracts and procurement within the construction, mining and professional services industries. She has carved a career in all facets of contract management, strategy and governance.

She understands the nuances of project management in construction and has worked extensively with Project Managers, Consultants and Engineering & Construction Teams. Sandra has acted in the role of Clients representative and therefore has an appreciation of budget control and restraints, including the probity requirements and regulatory requirements at government level.

Yvonne Green

Senior Contracts Manager

Yvonne is a highly skilled contracts and procurement professional with broad experience across sectors including infrastructure, transport and mining and resources. Her strength lies in leading the end to end procurement and contracting process, from identification of procurement needs, to the development and implementation of innovative procurement strategies. Her strong strategic acumen supports her diverse technical and project experience established over 30 years.

Tim has over 20 years of experience in project management, design management, and management of multi-disciplinary teams. Tim’s experience spans a range of industries including water infrastructure, water treatment, oil and gas, and manufacturing. Tim is a chartered engineer with a strong technical intuition and a natural ability to harness and motivate through his enthusiasm and trusted demeanour.

Dragan is an engineering leader with more than 23 years of experience with advanced commercial business skills and proven project management and delivery experience. Dragan has led, directed and shaped multi-disciplinary teams across multiple industry sectors from studies, concept and preliminary design, through to detailed design, procurement, construction and commissioning. Dragan is currently working delivering a programme of works on for Flinders Ports at and managing design development for Peninsula Ports’ new grain export facility at Port Spencer.

Victor has an engineering background and has experience managing individual projects and collective programs of works. Victor has managed projects on behalf of the client and contractor on high profile public infrastructure projects, along with working on complex project interfaces within a program delivery environment. He enjoys the challenge of politically sensitive projects, and the complexity that comes with working on major construction projects in the urban environment.  Victor is currently working on a number of DPTI rail projects, as well as the Paradise Interchange Park and Ride Upgrade.

Joel Smith

Project Engineer

Joel is a degree qualified, practical engineer with 13 years of industry experience in high demand engineering and site-based construction environments. He offers a strong focus on Workplace Health and Safety and high-risk construction activities.

Joel possesses diverse and balanced leadership experience in high risk construction environments and has led site-based construction teams for most of his career. As an experienced Project Engineer, he can pre-empt project risks and balance solutions with technical, delivery and commercial objectives.

Scott Amos

Senior Project Engineer

Scott is a degree qualified Mechanical Engineer with more than 20 years of project management, engineering and construction supervision experience from inception through to conclusion of major projects across multiple industries.

Scott bridges construction and contracts roles through administration of the day to day contract requirements as well as ensuring contractors obligations are being met. His combined technical engineering background and multi-disciplinary project experience means he is able to manage technical issues on site whilst maintaining a focus on program, cost, quality, safety and environmental challenges.

James Tite

James has over 20 years of experience working on complex civil infrastructure and building projects. He drives the project team’s compliance with internal policies around business, commercial and risk management. James has extensive experience managing contracts and working with subcontractors and understands that a collaborative approach, when applied to contractual requirements and interactions, ensures client-contractor interests are protected and enhanced.

John is a trade qualified construction professional with over 30 years of experience in a broad range of industries including mechanical plant and equipment, services, utilities, and civil. He brings a wealth of experience in project delivery and execution in new and existing operational environments. John is proficient in subcontractor engagement, interface management, site operations management and Workplace Health and Safety protocols.

Nazanin Nikoo-Jamal

Environmental Consultant

Naz is degree qualified as an environmental science engineer. She started working at the University of South Australia (UNI-SA) laboratory in 2015 on the interaction of contaminants with the constituent of soil following their release into the environment. Naz is currently working on the Port Spencer project undertaking a range of project research, analysis, reporting and implementation to support the development and delivery of projects, in line with established project plans and objectives.
